Partnerships Committee gains momentum
We're bonding professionally on a larger scale.

We believe that there is a lot of value that can be brought to the members of MassWIT through partnerships with other organizations that, like MassWIT, are working towards empowering professional women.

Jagathi Gururajan

The Partnership Committee is taking up an interesting challenge. We understand the needs of professional women comprise a wide range of both career-building and life-building aspects. In order to offer this to you, we plan to build a diverse base of partnerships that will give you avenues to explore and grow in all areas that will make you feel complete.

The Committee was very active with MassWIT's recent Women's Leadership Conference in celebration of International Women's Day, establishing relationships with a diverse group of like-minded organizations working towards enhancing professional women's growth.

Our success in gaining support was outstanding from organizations such as Babson College's Center for Women Leadership, the Commonwealth Institute, Financial Women's Association, Society for Women Engineers, The Indus Women (& The Indus Entrepreneurs), Women's Leadership & Technology Consortium, and Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology.

Now the Committee looks forward to strengthening these relationships and building new partnerships with other organizations. We are in the process of creating our strategy for the next year – and we are calling for volunteers! I already have some enthusiastic responses. I'd love to hear from more of you.

The equation is really simple: The more volunteers we have, the more we can reach out and build solid relationships with other organizations. And yes, the more volunteers we have, the less work each one of us has to do!

What do we need?
We are seeking dynamic individuals to help us grow MassWIT's partner relationships. In your role as Program Manager, you will independently initiate and manage relationships with partner organizations.

What will you get in return?

  • Use your skills creatively in another area and for a valued cause.
  • Increase your network.
    - Increase your visibility.
  • Work with a great team of professionals who successfully balance work and life commitments.
  • Gain recognition for the work that you do.
  • Enter a powerful accomplishment on your resume.

If you would like to take on this challenge, please contact me at jagathi@hotmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you!
