About International Women's Day
The history of International Women's Day dates back to 1910 internationally. Women in the United States organized the first national Women's Day in 1908 and helped to inspire the international event. The day has been recognized as a time for asserting women's political and social rights, for reviewing the progress that women have made and as a day for celebrating women.

Reception and expo
If you can't make it during the day, MassWIT will also host a vendor expo and networking reception from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The expo will be a special edition for MassWIT's March meeting. Our vendor expo will showcase many different products and services in tabletop exhibits, including our sponsors and affiliates, finance advisors, jewelry retailers, and possibly clothing retailers, among other things. Musical entertainment will be the backdrop for this casual networking opportunity with MassWIT members, speakers and event sponsor representatives.
If you are interested in showcasing your business or goods or know someone who should, please review our vendor fair information on the Web site. Stay posted for more information, as we begin to announce our sponsors and vendors during the upcoming weeks.
