Daimler AG has updated its list of approved fluids for its vehicles and major assemblies in the Mercedes-Benz Specifications for Operating Fluids (MB BeVo), presented by Daimler AG in both the German and the English languages. Daimler AG recommends using exclusively the products in these lists that have been individually checked and approved by Mercedes-Benz.

Cognis 1Q 2010 Operating Result Is Best Ever
Cognis has confirmed its previously announced preliminary first quarter 2010 financial results that the company recorded operating earnings of 131 million euros, the best in the company’s history. BASF AG Might Present Binding Offer For Cognis As Earlier As June
BASF AG reportedly might present a binding offer for Cognis as early as in June, but negotiations with the company's owners, Goldman Sachs Capital Partners and London-based private equity firm Permira, are described as "difficult", according to Dow Jones Newswires last Friday. BASF, which is considered the likely buyer, had so far only presented a non-binding offer, valuing Cognis at around EUR3 billion.
