Caterpillar has revised its now 146 page Machine Fluids Recommendations Bulletin, SEBU6250-17 (Rev 17), which covers Caterpillar's most current recommendations and specifications for lubricants, fuels and cooling system fluids for use in Caterpillar machines, such as those used in earthmoving and other off-highway applications, as well as forestry, mining, agriculture, and other applications.

Shell Lubricants and Hyundai Motor India Ltd Extend Lube Agreement
Shell Lubricants last week announced the extension of its strategic alliance with Hyundai Motor India Limited for a further five years. Shell has been the preferred lubricant partner for Hyundai. Shell Lubricants’ customers in India include Wartsila, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Ford and Thermax.

Chevron Issues Bullish Downstream Update for 1Q 2010
Chevron last week reported in its interim update that earnings for the first quarter 2010 are expected to be higher than in the fourth quarter 2009. Upstream earnings are projected to increase, reflecting higher commodity prices. Downstream results are expected to return to positive earnings in the first quarter, largely on improved refining margins.
