Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. is launching a new line of Kawasaki Performance Powersport Oils that includes full-synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral based formulations in multiple grades of motorcycle oils, plus new ATV/UTV and PWC formulations. According to Kawasaki, this is not a simple re-branding of the old product, but an entirely new lineup of super quality modern powersport engine oils.

Shell Lubricants has introduced Shell Rotella® T3 NG Energized Protection™ oil suitable for use in applications such as buses and trucks fitted with engines designed to run on 100 percent CNG or LNG, particularly those preferring relatively low-ash formulations. Asia Pacific Base Oil Market Outlook
The Asia Pacific base oil market was stable this past week. Prices were unchanged from the previous week. Base oils lighter grades are still oversupplied. In contrast, the heavier grades are in demand especially from North East Asia buyers. Buyers are seen to lock their positions earlier to avoid opportunity loss later on.

Eastern Hemisphere Lube Base Oil Price Report
Crude oil prices changed very little last week, trading in a range of US$71-75 per barrel, with light sweet crude oil closing at approximately US$74 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange last Friday. Eastern hemisphere base oil prices showed a small downward bias in most regions, falling by as much as US$20 per MT in some regions, except for Solvent Neutrals ex-Russia which increased by US$15 to $25 per MT.
