ExxonMobil Chemical announced last week the availability of an additional 15 thousand tons per year (kta) of high viscosity (Hi Vis) polyalphaolefins (PAO) production. ConocoPhillips recently announced that it has added the exclusive Liquid Titanium® additive to the majority of its Kendall® GT-1® Motor Oils, including synthetic blend, full synthetic and high mileage offerings. Chevron Oronite Introduces AWHO Adpack OLOA® 26008
Chevron Oronite announced last week that it has fully tested and is now releasing OLOA® 26008, an anti-wear hydraulic oil additive. It was designed to ensure the reliability and performance of modern hydraulic equipment by reducing wear, valve sticking, metal transfer and filterability issues. The Fifth Edition of the Synthetic Lubricant Cross Reference Chart Series Begins January 11
The Fifth Edition of our Synthetic Lubricant Cross Reference Chart Series is scheduled to be published in the OEM/Lube News beginning Monday, January 11, 2010 and run through June 2010, with a different chart each week. In total, these revised charts will list over 7,750 (fully) synthetic lubricants (made from Group IV and/or Group V synthetic basestocks) marketed by over 500 lube manufacturing and marketing companies and OEMs.
