Shell India to Double Lube Capacity to 200,000 TPA
Shell India Pvt. Ltd plans to invest about Rs469 crore (US$100,000 million) to double its lube manufacturing capacity in India to meet the rising demand primarily due to increasing automobile sales. Shell has a 100,000 tons manufacturing facility at Taloja in Maharashtra and is planning an additional capacity of another 100,000 tons.

Total to Acquire ExxonMobil's Vietnam Lube Business

Eastern Hemisphere Lube Base Oil Price Report
Crude oil prices traded in a narrow range of US$69-72 per barrel last week, with light sweet crude oil closing at US$72.29 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange last Friday. Lube base oil prices continue to remain on firm footing, with minimal change from our last report.
