NYCO AMERICA last week announced the addition of two new products, EL 4630 and EL 4640, to its extensive line Hydraunycoil ® Series of Hydraulic Fluids. HYDRAUNYCOIL EL 4630 and EL 4640 have earned the European Ecolabel Seal, signifying products that are readily biodegradable, come from renewable raw materials, and have a low health impact on human and fish species.
The new products represent viscosity grades ISO 32 and ISO 46. Both are based on a synthetic carboxylic ester and contain additives to improve anti-oxidation, anti-wear, and anti-corrosion properties. They are compatible with most elastomers and with mineral oil and vegetable oil based fluids. Their high VI and low pour points make them suitable for a wide range of temperature.
Applications for these new products include both mobile and stationary equipment such as use in off-highway and tunneling operations, as well as off-shore facilities, boats and sluices.
The new products will be offered exclusively to independent formulators and to companies interested in repackaging and marketing them under their own brand name.
NYCO also produces a select group of ester-based synthetic lubricants specially formulated to meet a wide range of highly demanding applications in the automotive and industrial markets, including lubricants for both piston and screw type compressors, as well as a broad range of superior products for demanding aviation and military applications.
NYCO AMERICA also markets monoester, diester, neopolyol ester, and complex ester basestocks marketed under the name of Nycobase which are typically used for blending synthetic lubricants for applications in refrigeration, air compression, high temperature chains, aviation, 2-T and 4-T automotive engines, biodegradable hydraulic fluids, and greases.
NYCO is also providing solution for Food Industry Lubricants with esters registered as HX-1: Nycobase FG series. They can be used as basestock for the formulation of H1 lubricants, used to lubricate machines where incidental contact with food may occur.
