by Maria Barret

Maria and baby January 2007 Maria Barret, a medical technician from New York, explains why she chose to helo Fiji.

But how does one know unless one sees this care firsthand, right? So that’s why….Fiji. What I wasn’t prepared for was that the people we were helping actually had an immense impact on me, even though I was there for only a short period, especially the children. They are the most gentle, most beautiful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
