Loloma Advance Team Arrives in Fiji
A prelude to "Letters from the Edge of the World"
On January 6, 2007 Loloma board members Linda Kwasny and Dr. P. Lance Hendricks left as the "point team" to meet Loloma's two containers in Suva. The following 4 "Letters from the Edge of the World" are Linda's (very lightly edited) account of their first week in Fiji. Take a moment to read them. Skip around. You will get a "first person" sense of this particular trip. Hot, hard work, and the joy of helping.

January 11, 2007 From Linda Kwasny Suva Fiji Greetings to y'all,
It's Friday and we're still alive and quite well. To bring you up to date so you can feel part of the virtual Loloma tour, here's what we did yesterday: Wednesday night, we hosted Sister Patricia, Sr. Liku, Sr. Josephine AND the infamous Fr. Finn who has become a constant source of entertainment with his caustic humor. Anyway, we had a great dinner at the luxurious Suva Motor Inn and then bid them all goodnight at 10 pm and we all collapsed.
