With the upcoming November elections closing in fast, OHCQ has re-released a memo regarding voter registration and absentee voting in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. House Bill 1368 of the 2006 Session requires local boards of elections to contact each nursing home and assisted living community and offer voter registration and absentee voting to the residents.

On August 20th, DHMH released a Medicaid transmittal affecting nursing home providers regarding tamper-resistance prescriptions.
