1 cup light karo syrup
1 cup sugar
2 cups Peter Pan Creamy Peanut Butter
4 cups rice crispies
1 large 23 oz bag Nestle milk chocolate chips
Melt caro syrup and sugar together over med heat until sugar dissolves. Add peanut butter and mix until creamy. Remove from heat and add rice crispies. Mix well and press into 9 X 13 pan. Melt chocolate chips in microwave and pour over. May refrigerate to set the chocolate.
For easier cutting, line the pan with wax paper first and lift out of the pan to cut.
Excellent with or without the chocolate.
