These luxury sport sedans have a 112.2-inch wheelbase and a swept back design that results in a very low 0.27 coefficient of drag (Cd) to help maximize highway fuel efficiency and minimize wind noise.

The GS 350 all-wheel drive usually send 70 percent of the power to the rear wheels. When needed, the system can divide the power 50/50 front and rear for better control in challenging conditions.

Lexus is starting the model year as the only luxury sport sedan offering hybrid drive. Lexus Hybrid Drive offers better performance and lower emissions. The model features a unique transmission that allows the electric motor to contribute power to highway driving.

There's a lot of safety built into all GS models including brake assist, four-channel antilock brakes and electronic brakeforce distribution.

There's another level of safety offered by the Lexus Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system. This system coordinates braking, steering, stability control and traction control to keep the vehicle on track in a turn.

Fit and finish is exemplary in the Lexus GS with fine wood accents and leather trim adding to the overall luxury of the interior. A dual-zone climate control system helps keep all the occupants comfortable.

The standard Lexus audio system features an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a six-disc, in-dash CD changer and 10 speakers. You can upgrade to a 330-watt Mark Levinson premium sound system and voice-activated DVD navigation system.
