Time For a Change After 18 Years
by Bill Mills

Tom Wittmayer

Tom Wittmayer joined Jon Lancaster at Lexus of Madison 18 years ago this month.  Tom has enjoyed an exemplary career working with thousands of clients and friends.  Tom has seen Lexus go from just 2 models in 1991 to 8 models today.  During that time Tom has had the pleasure to know and assist thousands of people and families with their transportation needs.  Although you will not find Tom at Lexus of Madison starting in October, you will likely catch him at Badger sporting events both here and away.  Tom will also spend time traveling with and visiting family.  Tom indicates he will also be spending time back in South Dakota where he grew up and still owns a farm.  Mending fences and other chores will likely keep Tom busy.

All of us at Lexus of Madison will miss him and wish him the best in retirement.  Tom has been a huge contributor to the Lexus ideals that have helped make Lexus the brand it is today.

Hi! My name is Phillis and I'm a cute young pit bull terrier.
by Gayle Viney

I'm a social gal that loves belly rubs, is house trained and already knows some commands.  I would love to learn even more at DCHS's Positively Pitties class.  I would do best with an active fmaily where I can get plenty of daily exercise.  If I sound like a good match for you, please stop by the shelter and meet me today!

Car Care: Getting “In Tune” with Modern Times
What happened to the tune-up?

Many people over a certain age still buy “albums,” for example. Those same people probably still “roll up” their car windows, even though crank-type windows essentially disappeared years ago. Here’s another term to reconsider: “Tune-up.”

Here is a trivia question you may have trouble with: What is the name of the first “national river” in the United States? Is it the mighty Mississippi, the powerful Colorado or the historic Hudson in New York State? The answer, which may surprise you, is “None of the above.”
