Dane County Humane Society (DCHS) is a charitable, non-profit animal shelter and is not affiliated with the Humane Society of United States or any government agency. We are a community supported organization dependent on the generosity of their members, volunteers and donors. DCHS is also an open admission shelter and approximately 7,000 animals pass through the shelter's doors each year including companion animals, exotic species, farm animals, small animals and orphaned or injured wildlife. The shelter serves as the stray animal holding facility for Dane County and reunites over 1,000 lost pets with their families each year. Please go to
