All-New 2019 Lexus ES Pricing Announced, 300h Most Fuel-Efficient in Class
The seventh-generation Lexus ES adds a new ES 350 F SPORT trim for 2019

The all-new, seventh-generation Lexus ES will arrive at dealerships across the United States in September, and its price tag will be surprisingly similar to its sixth-generation predecessor.

Following the LC coupe and LS sedan, the third vehicle in the Future Chapter of Lexus is the new Lexus ES. It will carry a starting price of $39,500 for the ES 350, up just $550 from the outgoing 2018 model.* The 2019 Lexus ES 300h will cost $510 less than the 2018 model with a starting price of $41,310, and the newly added 2019 Lexus ES 350 F SPORT will start at $44,035.*

Production on the 2019 Lexus ES 350 began in August at the Georgetown, Kentucky, production facility.  Employees spend a total of more than 150,000 hours ensuring that each vehicle to roll off the line meets the brand’s high standards for quality. The new Lexus ES is the latest vehicle built on the all-new Global Architecture-K platform, providing it with a lower and wider stance and longer wheelbase and granting a quality the chief designer Yasuo Kajino describes as “provocative elegance.”

“We’ve implemented the all-new Lexus Global Architecture platform,” said Susan Elkington, president, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc. “The 2019 ES starts with a newly developed, more rigid chassis and delivers class-leading handling and power you can feel and hear.”

The 2019 Lexus ES 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 paired with a new eight-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission that provides optimal efficiency. Not only is the ES 350 powerful with an output of 302 horsepower, but it delivers an EPA-estimated 33 mpg on the highway — 34 horsepower and 2 highway mpg better than its predecessor.**

Those favoring efficiency above all else will no doubt want to opt for the Lexus ES 300h, featuring a fourth-generation Hybrid Drive System and an Atkinson cycle 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. This pairing results in a combined system output of 215 horsepower and class-leading fuel economy with 43 mpg in the city, 45 mpg on the highway and 44 mpg combined.**

The new 2019 Lexus ES 350 F SPORT offers a dark lower valence, rear spoiler and distinctive Hadori aluminum trim in the cabin. Every 2019 Lexus ES features the new Lexus Safety System+ 2.0, which offers driver-assist technologies including daytime bicyclist detection and low light pedestrian technology.
