The Lewer Agency has implemented a customer service strategy that puts more focus on "feet-on-the-street" services for LewerMark clients in five states - Washington, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada. Leading the way in this initiative for the company are Monica Olson, new LewerMark account manager based in Seattle, and Joy Parren, based in Phoenix. Monica joined Lewer on September 1, 2009. Joy began her relationship with Lewer on June 1, 2009.

After dragging my shot-shy kids to doctors’ offices for a number of years, I was surprised when the nurse practitioner asked me, for the very first time, to produce identification during an appointment I had scheduled for my eight year old daughter, Catie. “You want to see ID,” I asked, indicating my surprise. “Yes, we are seeing an increase in people stealing health insurance cards,” she told me. “Sign of the times.”

Lewer Team Co-Chairing NAFSA Sponsorship Committee
LewerMark team members Jeff Crawford and Rick Thomas have agreed to co-chair NAFSA’s sponsorship committee which is tasked with raising funds to pay for the plenary speaker appearing at the National NAFSA Conference in Kansas City in May 2010. Jeff and Rick will be working with Ravi Kallur, PhD, MPA, administrative director at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

Lewer Manager Describes Her Experience After Recent Mission Trip to Africa

“Galetet! Galetet!” The children point and run toward us as we pass by on the red dirt roads. "Galetet!” (White man) they yell. They have seen whites before, but not so many at one time. There are 27 in our mission group that have come to the south central area of Southern Sudan called Kajo Keji (kah-jo kee-jee). We have come to share a message of hope and love by trusting in God, and we are well-received.
