"Cash for Clunkers" Questions Still Unanswered
NHTSA has a deadline of July 24 for details

Back in late June, President Obama signed into law the Cash for Clunkers program. The bill stipulated that the program begins on July 1 but that NHTSA has until July 24 th to devise and implement all of the rules and procedures for the program. Needless to say, this has created a lot of confusion amongst dealers and consumers. Regrettably, we don’t have any more information at this time. We hope to have more information shortly. In the meantime, we have created a page on our website that you can find here that will answer a lot of the questions that many consumers have. If you have a question that is not answered on our FAQ’s page, please email us and we will do our best to answer your question accurately.
