Low carbon home-building on track at Ecobuild

Strong interest in the realistic delivery of low and zero carbon homes has resulted in another successful and busy Ecobuild for UK building products manufacturer The Litchfield Group.

The company exhibited its three-step building system which is at the heart of the pioneering Brookwood Farm development of Code level 5 hew homes near Woking.

Window fabricator and installer Asset Fineline has replaced single glazed timber windows in a Victorian primary school with high performance, energy efficient double glazed PVCu windows manufactured using Sheerframe.

The Brookwood Farm development of traditionally styled low carbon new homes near Woking, which has been built using The Litchfield Group's three-step building system and looks set to be a model of sustainable building for social housing providers across the country, is rapidly taking shape and nearing completion with very minimal manpower.

Scottish caravan show success for Sheerline

Sheerline verandah systems once again proved a hit with holiday and park home owners visiting the recent Scottish Caravan and Outdoor Leisure show, which attracted a record number of visitors this year.

Exhibiting for a 10th year in conjunction with Scottish Sheerline installer Courthill Leisure, The Litchfield Group took the opportunity to display its new Sheerline deck plank colours, plus its enhanced balustrading and many new enquiries were taken.
