Persistence and tenacity, both excellent qualities for a pharmaceutical industry employee, paid off for Todd Cantin as he pursued his goal of becoming a pharmaceutical sales representative. When a position became available with Sandoz, Todd used those skills to gain an unscheduled and unsolicited introduction, an interview and a job. Whenever he speaks with a representative who thinks they can’t go forward with a particular client, Todd tells them his story and shares with them what a motivated, persistent individual can accomplish.

Shaun Barry, a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist in the Cardiovascular Division at AstraZeneca for four years, brings with him a strong foundation of entrepreneurial expertise and leadership skill sets gained while building and running his financial services practice. Shaun credits his knowledge of group dynamics and organizational behavior to his experience coordinating and balancing the needs of his former financial practice, his clients and his employees – his physicians gain value from that skill in their work with Shaun.
