SAN vs NAS
What's the Difference?

The terms SAN and NAS may be confusing. Both are general purpose storage solutions. NAS stands for Network Attached Storage, and attaches to your Ethernet network. SAN stands for Storage Area Network, and connects to a computer or server just like a SCSI hard drive.  Here are the differences:
