Duplication Systems are Now Faster and More Affordable
More Choices to Meet Your Application
http://www.kintronics.com/Duplicators.ht...
Duplication Systems are now faster, more reliable and more
affordable then ever before. The latest duplicators use the new 24X recorders.
Each recorder can write a full 650 MB capacity CD in about 3 minutes. There is
a wide choice of configurations so you can choose a system that's right for
your application. You can even get a system that duplicates DVD-R discs.
You can choose a standalone duplication system or computer
connected duplication system. A standalone system is very simple to use. You
just insert the master and select the number of copies you want to make. The
duplicator does the rest. Computer connected duplication systems are sometimes
referred to as CD publication systems. They allow you to make multiple copies
of CDs from the data on your hard drive. It also makes it easy to create many
different sets of copies. For example, you can make 10 of one type of disc and
20 of another.
The new standalone Orbit Pro from Microboards is an example of a standalone
duplication system. It contains two 24X recorders and holds up to 150 CDs. It
contains a hard drive for storing multiple masters. It allows you to do audio track
extraction, and provides disc to disc and HDD to disc copying. You can also copy
and verify, or verify only. It provides batch mode for multiple-master
duplication. This system costs $3,495. Take
a look at http://www.kintronics.com/microboards/Orbitpro.htm
for more details.
Standalone duplicators are also available with built-in
printers. You can choose ink-jet printers or thermal transfer type printers.
Ink-jet printers make high-quality images directly on the ink-jet printable CDs.
The downside is that they can smear if they get wet. Thermal transfer printers
make permanent images that won't smear, but they are not good at printing full
color pictures. The new Everest thermal transfer printer from Rimage is an
exception. It not only makes a permanent print; it also makes very nice
continuous color pictures.
The Microboards SaturnIIP is a standalone 150-disc capacity
system with a built-in ink-jet printer. It includes two 12X recorders, and features
a rapid and precise gravity-fed media loading mechanism. An intuitive user
interface allows easy access to multiple functions, including copy, verify,
track extraction, and many more. The internal 13 GB hard drive permits the
caching of print files, disc images, and extracted tracks. This system costs
$7,465. Take a look at http://www.kintronics.com/microboards/Saturn.htm
for more details.
The Mediatechnics model IP6160PT-6 contains up to six 16X
recorders and can hold up to 800 CDs. It also contains a built-in Rimage
thermal transfer printer. This is a very high performance standalone unit. It can
copy and print up to 82 CDs per hour. This system costs $14,175. Take a look at
http://www.kintronics.com/cdautoloader.html
for more information.
The Rimage model DTP800-PCNetKit connects to a Windows 2000
computer. Not only can this system be used on a single computer; other users on
the network can also share it. The DTP800 has a single 24X recorder, built-in
ink-jet printer and a 60-disc capacity. It sells for $3,975. For more
information take a look at http://www.kintronics.com/cedar/d800spec.html.
