Utah has a club to match any interest or hobby. Socialize with friends, family and neighbors who share common interests in one of the state’s many groups and organizations.
Meet up with other green thumbs at the Utah Garden Club. Located at Doman Nursery in Springville, the group has more than 80 members from across the state and beyond. Post photos and chat online or attend an event at the nursery. It’s free to join and you can provide information on the website about what you’re interested in growing in order to get some good tips. Meeting and membership information is available at www.utahgardenclub.com.
The
Utah State Historical Society (USHS) was founded in 1897 by a group of residents who wanted to preserve the state’s rich history and culture as accurately as possible. Society members receive the
Utah Historical Quarterly throughout the year; started in 1928, the publication features articles by some of the country’s top historians and scholars. Membership also brings invitations to special events and activities. There’s no better way to learn about Utah than alongside individuals who share your passion for the past.
