The Utah State Historical Society (USHS) was founded in 1897 by a group of residents who wanted to preserve the state’s rich history and culture as accurately as possible. Society members receive the Utah Historical Quarterly throughout the year; started in 1928, the publication features articles by some of the country’s top historians and scholars.
