It takes a combination of skill, courage, stamina and finesse to succeed in the sport of equestrian. These qualities can also be found in a Land Rover, the official automotive partner of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF).
The USEF is the national governing body for equestrian sport in the United States and hosts more than 2,800 competitions each year. Land Rover also serves as the official vehicle of the 2012 U.S. Eventing Team.

“Eventing” is an equestrian competition that combines dressage, cross-country and show jumping. It is often referred to as an equestrian triathlon, as it includes three different disciplines in one competition over one, two or three days. Men and women compete as equals in both individual and team events.
In 2012, Land Rover will provide funding to the USEF through the Competition and Training Grant Program. The funding will help support training and travel expenses for deserving riders. Proper training, international experience and the highest level of horse care are all part of putting together a successful Olympic bid.
Land Rover will provide off-road test drives at several events during the 2012 sponsorship year. Events will include the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, April 26 through 29 in Lexington, Kentucky; the American Eventing Championships, September 6 through 9 in Fairburn, Georgia and the Galway Downs International 3-Day Event, November 1 through 4 in Temecula, California. A full calendar of events, as well as all the latest news on the 2012 U.S. Eventing Team, can be found at www.usef.org.
Like a Land Rover, a horse is powerful, agile and can easily navigate obstacles in its path. It takes a special kind of skill to drive a Land Rover just as it does to ride a horse competitively. Land Rover is proud to be a sponsor of the USEF and the 2012 U.S. Eventing Team.
