The JCRC strongly encourages its activists in writing to local area representatives about several issues that impact Israel. These include:

• Stopping Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons by supporting sanctions against and divestment from Iran.
• Iran Sanctions Enabling Act of 2007 (House) – passed July 31, 2007
• Iran Sanctions Enabling Act of 2007 (Senate)
• Iran Counter-Proliferation Act of 2007 (House)
• Iran Counter-Proliferation Act of 2007 (Senate)
• The JCRC Board of Directors has adopted a position to urge divestment from Iran by our state governments. The Jewish Council for Public Affairs, the national umbrella body of JCRCs around the nation and several national community relations bodies, are now in public support of imposing economic pressure on Iran to give up its desire for nuclear arms.  Click here for JCPA's Statement on Iran.
