It’s Easy to Get Into Bed With the All-New 2009 Ford F-150 Pickup
The Box Side Step and Tailgate Step put you in the bed with ease.

“The 2009 F-150 is more than a truck—it’s a work system,” said Kelley Blue Book in naming the Ford F-150 its “2009 Best Redesigned Vehicle.” The editors at KBB.com feel that the F-150 exemplifies Ford’s willingness to listen and deliver features, capabilities and efficiencies pickup truck owners want. Making it easier to get into the pickup bed saves time and energy when getting a big job done.

The Victorian Luxury and Southern Charm of Thomasville, Georgia
And did we mention that traffic jams are unheard of?

In 1887, Harper’s magazine declared that Thomasville, Georgia was the absolute “best winter resort on three continents.” Even doctors swore that the town’s pine-scented air could relieve ailments, and soon enough, visitors were pouring in from all over the United States. Luxury hotels, cottages and plantations were built to accommodate winter guests and even boasted electricity and telephones, which of course were rare amenities at the time. Perhaps most wonderful of all is that Thomasville is still on the map today and is just as charming as it was in Victorian times!

Do You Really Need to Break in a New Car?
It’s a common question with one answer and a lot of opinions.

First, let’s stress that the owner’s manual for your car is the authoritative guide to any break-in procedures. Almost all manufacturers have recommendations in these handbooks. That being said, engine break-in is subject to opinion, just as are oil change intervals and tire pressures.

What Grade Do You Give Your Engine?
By the way, this is no “knock-knock” joke!

You pull up to the pump and usually have three choices: Regular, Mid-grade and Premium. Are these grades the equivalent of “good, better and best?” Have you ever been tempted to give your car a “treat” and upgrade? Do you really have to feed your high performance car that outrageously priced Premium grade?

Take a Time-Out for Breakfast
This winter, warm up to delicious and healthy breakfast treats.

Before you run out the door, take the time to stop and smell the coffee. In fact, why don’t you sit down and enjoy a healthy breakfast? It seems that we’re always on the go, even when we have nowhere to go, and as a result, the most important meal of the day is often forgotten.

Changing Your Home’s Motif and Mood This Winter
Inexpensive, simple ways to turn your breezy summer cottage into a cozy winter lodge.

Since no two seasons are identical, your home shouldn’t look the same from one solstice or equinox to the next either. Feng Shui, Chinese for “Wind and Water,” is the science of balancing elements, both physically and spiritually.
