With his gentle, helpful, easy-going customer service style and winning smile, it’s no wonder Island Honda service customers still ask for Truman by name. Truman's career at Island Honda began in 1992 when, as a teenager, he was hired as a lot attendant. Over the last seventeen years, he's moved up through the ranks, becoming a service advisor, then assistant service manager. Promoted to service manager in 2006, Truman continues to make customer service a priority within his department.

Recipe Corner: Cream Puff Cake
Mahalo to Rainell Domingo of TAGS, who shared the real thing with us last week... So-oo good!
1 c water
½ c butter
1 c flour
4 eggs
Bring water and butter to a boil in a sauce pan. Remove from heat and pour in flour. Mix well until it forms a ball. Cool for 15-20 minutes. Beat in one egg at a time. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9x13 cake pan. Spread cooled mixture into the pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool completely.
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 ½ c milk
2 boxes instant pudding
1 tub cool whip
Chocolate syrup
Mix cream cheese, milk and instant pudding well. Spread over cooled crust. Spread cool whip over pudding mixture. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Refrigerate for a few hours, then serve.
