Congratulations, Raquel!
Raquel Zane, Daughter of Leslie Boteilho, Named Central Boys & Girls Club of Maui's Youth of the Year!

As proud moms go, our Customer Service Manager, Leslie (formerly Zane) Boteilho is understandably over the top!  Her seventeen-year-old daughter, Raquel, a member of the Central Boys and Girls Club of Maui, was recently chosen to represent her club in the Youth of the Year local Maui competition.  As an event program described, "The Youth of the Year Program develops youth into articulate, well-groomed and knowledgeable spokespersons for their Club and community.  The qualities of character, service and leadership that make a Youth of the Year are promoted in the Club every day."  Although Lopaka Mattos of the Paukukalo Club eventually won the competition, which included a total of five candidates, both Raquel and Leslie agree that the experience was priceless, and that the time and effort Raquel put into preparing for the competition have indeed contributed to her becoming all that she can be.  Well done, Raquel!
