Employee Spotlight: Brandon Ortiz
Meet Brandon, our new service department lot tech.  (He recently replaced Grant Odo, who has moved on to doing oil changes and other maintenance services in our lube rack.)  If he looks familiar, you may have seen him at Journeys, where he still works part-time as a sales clerk.  Prior to Journeys, Brandon worked for Spencer Homes for eight years, first as a laborer, and later as a project manager’s assistant.  When asked how he’s doing so far, Brandon’s response was, “I like that everybody’s personable and willing to help me to know what’s going on, and to help me out if I miss something.  I’m thankful for everyone’s patience with me – the managers are helpful and understanding, too!”  Brandon’s favorite pastimes involve helping friends – whether working on cars, doing clothing graphic design, manning booths at trade shows and more – friends who have helped him through a lot, too.  And although he doesn’t do it much anymore, Brandon also enjoys (and apparently is really good at) breakdancing - in fact, he used to compete locally and nationally!
