IMA Will Be Ektron’s Vendor of the Month in October
IMA is proud to announce that we will be featured as Ektron’s Vendor of the Month during the month of October. As an Ektron gold partner, IMA offers clients customized, interactive Web sites that can be maintained using Ektron’s powerful content management tool. We have also demonstrated our ability to extend Ektron’s capabilities – creating one-of-a-kind Web sites that are responsive to client design aesthetics and functional requirements. IMA has produced many successful Web sites using Ektron, including sites for New York City Ballet, Schonbraun McCann Group, Rutgers NCRC, Georgian Court University, Laptop Magazine, and more.

IMA considers October to be an excellent month to be featured as Partner as the Month, since we will have a booth at Ektron Synergy ’08, taking place on October 21-24 at the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston. To learn more, visit http://synergy.ektron.com/.

New Site Launches

Rutgers NCRC
The Nontraditional Career Resource Center at Rutgers University is dedicated to bridging education and workforce development to increase awareness of opportunities of non-traditional careers to 7th-12th grade students. NCRC wanted to redesign its Web site to be more accessible, fun, and easy to navigate. They wanted to develop a contemporary, youth-oriented brand to pique the interest of a difficult-to-reach audience: teens. NCRC also wanted a more intensive presence in search engines to reach its audience more reliably.

To fulfill these needs, IMA developed a fun site designed to attract and maintain the interest of teens. The design bridged youthful irreverence and academic information.

Because the site was built in the Ektron CMS400.Net content management solution, IMA could incorporate an interactive calendar, social-networking section and blogs that could easily be augmented for the most up-to-date information. In addition, IMA built the site using SEO best practices to help creative-minded teens find the Center using search engines.

C.R. Bard – Career Site
A leading producer of healthcare products for Vascular, Urology and Oncology disease management, C.R. Bard wanted to develop a visually appealing Web site, separate from their main site, to showcase the careers they offer and to attract new talent in the field.

IMA’s site fulfills those requirements and more. The site design complements but is distinct from the parent site. Several features were incorporated that showcase why Bard is such an attractive place to work – including a highlight on the company’s 100-years of history, their philanthropic culture, and spotlights on the various hometowns where Bard’s divisions are located. The site includes images from “A Day in the Life” as well as actual employee career paths.

A best-practice SEO implementation will elevate the Bard Careers site in Web search engines, helping individuals looking for careers in the medical device fields to find C.R. Bard. To access the site, visit www.crbard.com and click the Careers tab.
