New mini-projects
We are working with long-time clients such as Mason Gross School of the Arts and The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey to refine their sites. We're doing market research for Aquis Communications, and finishing up an affiliate marketing and search-engine optimization project for the Sussman Lifestyle Group. In addition, Partners for Democratic Change returned to us to develop an e-mail newsletter that will complement their Web site and help build awareness of their organization.
In addition, we recently did a major update for the Morris Center YMCA, not only adding the new season's offerings of classes, but also creating a new series of templates that would allow the client to be able to do many more of their own updates.
Chatting with New York City Ballet Dancers
The first NYC Ballet chat session was a great experience, not just for the dancers and the staff who participated at Ballet, but also for those of us who stuck around that evening, just to make sure everything went off without a hitch.
We were astounded by how many people checked in as soon as the chat room was "opened," about 15 minutes before the actual conversation began. The back-and-forth with the dancers was spirited, and everyone had a great time. The next chat is scheduled for February 19, features Holly Hynes and Tom Gold, and is for registered users of the New York City Ballet Web site only. If you're not registered and want to participate, visit www.nycballet.com and sign up. The whole registration process only takes a few minutes!
In addition, we're more than ever convinced that this can be a tremendous outreach tool for non-profits and educational institutions in particular, and for commercial organizations as well. If you'd like to explore the possibilities with us, drop Len an e-mail at len@imediainc.com.
Work Underway
Work continues on sites for Farkas Furniture, TeePee Packaging, and Family Promise. In addition, IMA is working with WeMove on their IMN newsletter templates, is collaborating with Anderol on their new Flash homepage and the database-driven interface for product information sheets on the Web, and is about halfway through a marketing consulting engagement that we're doing in partnership with Spring-O'Brien, for The Casey Group.
New Client: Rutgers' Nontraditional Career Resource Center for Women and Work
IMA will be creating a fun, interactive learning experience for Middle School and High School students in New Jersey, to help them learn about nontraditional career choices as well as what will be required to gain self-sufficiency later in their lives. We have just begun brainstorming this exciting project! Stay tuned.
