IMA Update

New Engagement
IMA has been engaged to create a new Web site for Polywood, Inc. The company manufactures structural plastic lumber from post-consumer and post-industrial recycled plastics. Using patented technologies, Polywood develops and advances the application of structural, industrial plastic lumber for uses including railroad crossties, building substructures (joists, beams, posts), vehicular and pedestrian bridges, boardwalks and walkways, and piers, docks, piles and observation platforms. The company came to IMA because their current Web site does not adequately reflect their success in the marketplace.

Newly Launched Web Sites
IMA launched the first Web site for Michael Gunzburg, Attorney at Law (www.gunzburglaw.com). The site includes a Macromedia Flash opening sequence on the home page, as well as content about Mr. Gunzburg's practice and tips for clients.

IMA has managed and marketed the EPpy™ Awards for seven years, using temporary mini-sites for entries and online judging. Now the EPpy™ Site has been updated and will be available year-around for anyone who wants to learn more about the awards. The 2004 EPpy™ Awards for the Best Media-Affiliated Internet Services are presented by Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek. This is the ninth year for the contest, which has been broadened beyond its original focus on the interactive newspaper industry to reflect both the maturing of the Internet industry, where media-affiliated sites compete for both users and revenues, and the expanded scope of the Interactive Media Conference and Trade Show, expected to attract executives from the Internet services sponsored by newspapers, television and radio, and the vendors that serve them. See the new site at www.eppyawards.com.

Now Under Development
IMA completed the specification and screens for the Anderol administrative database, which will enable the company to more efficiently update their Web site with Product Data Sheets and Material Safety Data Sheets. Once this new system is adopted, clients will be able to search for this information more easily.

Other Web projects now underway at IMA include Family Promise, H.L. Farkas Furniture, and Tee Pee Packaging.

Special Projects
IMA will be facilitating NYC Ballet's series of online chat sessions with ballet dancers, directors, and others. The first session will take place on Wednesday, January 21, at 7-8 PM. Dancers Wendy Whelan and Albert Evans will be answering questions from NYC Ballet fans. Only registered users of the NYC Ballet Web site will be permitted in the chat session.

IMA recently provided IATSE Local One members with a 20-minute streaming video of their retirement benefits. Members can log into the Members Only section to view the video online.
