ILN Launches New Website
www.iln.com
by Lindsay Griffiths

New York (March 10, 2006) – As part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate the relationships
among member firms through an open exchange of information, expertise, and
experience, the International Lawyers Network (ILN) unveiled phase one of their new
website, www.iln.com on Friday.

In addition to the aesthetic changes, the redesigned site showcases the work and
expertise of member firms and attorneys through an easily accessible database of
articles and newsletters. The database is catalogued to allow visitors the ability to go directly to articles in the Bullet”iln”, Doing Business In, ILN in the News, ILN Member Newsletters, International Legal News, Member Articles, Member Press Releases, Specialty Group Papers, and Virtual Roundtable categories instead of searching through one archive. The articles also appear directly on the individual and firm pages, giving viewers of the site a direct link to the firm and/or attorney’s highlighted knowledge.

The site also offers special consideration to the Network’s eight specialty groups, Medical Device & Drug Manufacturing Litigation, Tax Law, Energy, Finance & Restructuring, Intellectual Property, International Dispute Resolution, International Trade and Transportation, and Labor & Employment. These groups provide all member firms with the ability to pool their resources and take advantage of the strength and depth of their combined expertise. The new specialty group pages provide an overview of each group and its activities, direct contact information for each of the attorneys involved in the group, and the latest news. This exchange of information through member articles and newsletters and the specialty group pages will allow members both the ability to accurately and confidently refer legal matters to their colleagues in other jurisdictions, as well as identify opportunities to work together.

The next phase will expand on the efforts of phase one, through including more relevant content for current firms, such as general legal news, ways to make the most out of membership, and collaborative opportunities for members. The ILN also looks to offer interested firms the ability to access more information on the Network, such as the benefits of membership in the ILN and criteria for membership, to allow them to make an informed decision regarding membership. Phase three will introduce a comprehensive members’ extranet to take advantage of and expand on the relationships among member firms.

As one of the largest networks of experienced attorneys in the world, the International Lawyers Network provides a platform for clients to access quality legal professionals worldwide, with the cost-effectiveness and personalized service only independent, regional law firms can provide. The International Lawyers Network is an association of over 85 high-quality, full-service and specialized law firms with over 4,500 lawyers in 62 countries on six continents. The excellence, demonstrated experience, worldwide presence, and relationships of the International Lawyers Network combine to make this Network one of the leading associations of independent law firms in the world.
