Philadelphia, PA—February 28, 2005 – Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen LLP, a leading mid-Atlantic law firm, announced today the formation of a new Entertainment Law Practice
WolfBlock

Philadelphia, PA—February 28, 2005 – Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen LLP, a leading mid-Atlantic law firm, announced today the formation of a new Entertainment Law Practice to be headquartered in its New York office. Leading the Entertainment Law Practice will be Peter A. Fields and David H. Chidekel, who join WolfBlock as lateral partners.

Mr. Fields brings experience in public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, e-commerce ventures and Internet service and content providers to WolfBlock. He has represented motion picture, television and video producers, distributors and investors as well as actors, writers, directors, musicians, fashion designers and authors.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Fields worked at Tri-Star Pictures and Columbia Pictures in New York. His practice in technology law was featured two years in a row by AlleyCat News in its yearly issue on the leading lawyers focused on technology matters.

Mr. Fields received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He is a member of the Bar for New York State and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court, SDNY and the U.S. District Court, EDNY.

Although specializing in music industry transactions, Mr. Chidekel has represented companies in the motion picture and television industries. One of a very few music attorneys who negotiate Internet/technology agreements, Mr. Chidekel has served as an attorney, advisor and consultant to 3G Global Management, Napster, Applesoup.com, eMusic and as the chairman of iVillage.com.

Mr. Chidekel graduated with a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Connecticut and received his J.D. from Hofstra University Law School. He is a member of the Bar for New York State and Minnesota.

“Entertainment law is an area where we feel WolfBlock can excel,” said Mark Alderman, Chairman of WolfBlock. “Peter Fields and David Chidekel have the capability to lead this new practice area towards success.”

“We are excited to expand our practice area capabilities to our clients in New York,” added Abby Wenzel, Managing Partner of WolfBlock’s New York Office. “We believe we have the competencies office-wide to effectively represent those in the entertainment industry.”
