ILN Member Fogler Rubinoff Sponsors IBA Conference
New York (April 20, 2010) – On Tuesday, Fogler Rubinoff announced that they are sponsoring the IBA’s Biennial Conference SEERIL: Challenges for Resources in a Changing World, held at the Four Seasons in Toronto on April 25-28, 2010. The conference, which is presented by the IBA’s Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure Law, will focus on a wide range of issues affecting the industries represented by this section. The IBA says “The topics will be around the general theme of empowering the planet in a challenging environment, including access to resources, energy and land, reduction of emissions and the associated legal framework.” It is recommended that private practitioners and in-house counsel at all levels of experience involved in environmental, international construction, mining, oil and gas, power or water law attend.

Mr. Tartt has not only served his many clients by trying cases; his career has been marked by tireless service to the Bar, including a term as the President of the State Bar of Texas. Among his numerous leadership roles at the Texas Bar Foundation, he has served as Chair of the Board and Chair of the Fellows. Mr. Tartt has also served on the Board of Governors, the House of Delegates, and the Chair of the Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary for the American Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
