Felix
Austin

Felix came into IGCA Rescue weighing 24 pounds and has made it down to 19 so far!  He's happier and definitely healthier, and will make someone a terrific companion!  This red fawn and white boy is about 4 years old and is becoming a wonderful companion.  We can handle his feet and his ears. He knows sit, down, off, roll over, and we are working on wait and stay. He is a great Obedience candidate!

He's terrific with the foster's outdoor cat, free range rabbit, and dogs of equal size. Larger dogs take getting used to, but he is coming around.  Felix will potty outside, but we would not call him housebroken. We know when he needs to go and sometimes it takes coaxing to get him to ahead and go while he's out. Otherwise, he'll hold it until he comes back in. He does not mark or pee inside. He loves being outside with his people!

Felix is fully vetted and ready to go!  We would love for his new home to actively continue his training.  It would be a shame to let a guy this smart go to waste!  An active lifestyle will help him continue to lose weight and could make him an agility hopeful!
