My name is Toby.  I am 4 years old and excited to find out that there are other Iggies and people in the world.  I spent the two years prior to being rescued shut up in a bathroom by myself for all but a few hours of the day.  I didn't have any food or water in the bathroomI was dumped off at a vet's office and they were told to do what ever they wanted to do with me.  Luckily, my IGCA Rescue angels were there to save me!

I have come a long way since that day with my social skills, but still get scared when new people come around.  I warm up and attach easily after I see they are going to be nice to me.  I like to have my back rubbed and to be told I am loved and wanted. I am learning to play with toys and my new found friends in my foster home.  I like to run around the back yard and check out all the corners but I do not like to be left out alone too long.  I like to know where my human is at all times.  I love to cuddle up with my human and sleep under a blanket.

My potty habits are usually really good.  I sometimes have to wear my potty pants because I get excited or scared and have an accident.  I am learning to chew my food and that I can have a drink of water anytime I want.  That "drink anytime you want" thing is really neat!

I really want a forever home soon.  A forever human that will love to cuddle with me and remind me I am loved.  I will attach quickly to that loving soul and make a wonderful friend.  I do not mind cats as long as they do not slap me.  That scares me and I run and hide.  I would like to have an older iggy sister or brother (I really like the girls) to play and cuddle with.  I am told I am a handsome boy and that a loving human will come along soon.  If you come to meet me, I will promise to save your heart, just like IGCA saved my life!
