If you live with a primary immunodeficiency disease or have a significant relationship with someone who is affected, you know how important it is to raise awareness and understanding about these diseases. This is a perfect opportunity to educate and inform people and hopefully, this knowledge will lead to early diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

THINK ZEBRA! 2013
Earn up to Three Free Hotel Nights at the National Conference

IDF is pleased to announce the online launch of THINK ZEBRA! 2013, our fundraising and awareness initiative.

This year, for the first time, you can participate in THINK ZEBRA! online and easily raise funds and promote awareness through your very own Personal Campaign Page.

Creating a Personal Campaign Page only takes a few minutes. Once it's up and running, you can then e-mail friends, neighbors, and family members about your connection to IDF, and start raising money.

Those who fundraise on behalf of IDF through the THINK ZEBRA! campaign may be eligible for the following prizes:

·        Raise $1,000* and you will receive reimbursement for your registration fee for the IDF National Conference.

·        Raise $2,500 – $3,499* and you will receive one free hotel night at the Baltimore Hilton during the Conference, in addition to the reimbursed registration fee.

·        Raise $3,500 or more* and you will receive three free hotel nights at the Baltimore Hilton during the Conference, in addition to the reimbursed registration fee.

THINK ZEBRA! Silent Auction
Get Creative and Donate

The THINK ZEBRA! Silent Auctions at the 2009 and 2011 National Conferences were popular events, enjoyed by conference participants who had a great time finding treasures! Hundreds of unique donated items raised tens of thousands of dollars for IDF. So we are going to do it again! Plans are underway for the THINK ZEBRA! Silent Auction for the 2013 National Conference in Baltimore, MD.

IDF Scholarships
Deadline Extended

IDF has extended the application deadline to April 5, 2013 for two academic scholarship programs for students living with primary immunodeficiency disease. The Eric Marder Scholarship Program of IDF is open to undergraduate students living with a primary immunodeficiency who plan on completing their secondary education, and the Varun Bhaskaran Scholarship Program of IDF is available to undergraduate or graduate students living with Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome (WAS).
