Medicare patient IVIG access has moved one step closer toward success. Senator John Kerry (D- MA) is introducing amendment (Kerry C-5) to allow Medicare IVIG patients to have IVIG administered at home and to require a study to look at payment problems in all care settings. It is "crunch" time!
The Senate Finance committee will begin meeting September 22, 2009 to decide which of 500 amendments will become a part of the health care reform bill in the Senate. If your Senator is listed below, we need you to send a letter to him or her urging them to support Kerry Amendment C-5.
The IDF community has been splendid in its response to calls for action this year. We ask you to continue that support because your letters and communications to your legislators are the reason our legislative requests have gotten to the next level!
