The Immune Deficiency Foundation, in partnership with the United States Immunodeficiency Network, is currently accepting letters of request for the LeBien Visiting Professor Program from teaching hospitals for the academic year 2009-2010.
The LeBien Visiting Professor Program promotes improved knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases by providing expert clinical immunologists to lead grand rounds and other educational activities. This program is available to teaching hospitals throughout the United States and is free to the participating hospital.
If you are interested in this educational program, please send a brief (one page) letter to IDF by June 30, 2008, stating your desire to participate in the program and include:
● A suggested list of teaching/clinical activities you would like to see addressed by the Visiting Professor Program at your hospital.
● Reasons your training program and/or students would benefit from the Visiting Professor Program, such as, if there is no other formal program in primary immunodeficiency diseases.
