2008 IADR Vice-president Nominations

Any IADR member may send suggestions for IADR Vice-president.  Names of potential candidates must be received by August 31, 2007, and should be accompanied by a short biographical sketch and supporting letter. (Please note that a curriculum vitae is not necessary.) Send all materials to:

John W. Stamm
Chair, IADR Nominating Committee
E-mail: john_stamm@dentistry.unc.edu

Committee Appointments

Additionally, the Council approved the 2007-2008 Committee Appointments; at this time we are also accepting nominations for next year.  Committees are the backbone of the IADR, and each year the President-elect seeks a wide variety of volunteers, representing as many geographic areas and scientific disciplines as possible, to fill committee vacancies.

If you are interested in volunteering for service on an IADR committee, beginning in 2008, please contact IADR President-elect J.M. (Bob) ten Cate (jm.ten.cate@acta.nl).

JDR Editorial Board Call for Nominations

Each year, approximately one-third of the ca. 100 individuals on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Dental Research conclude their term of service, and nominations are needed for persons to take their place. These individuals act as prime reviewers for manuscripts submitted for publication and can make a real impact on the quality of the JDR. The selection procedure is conducted by a subcommittee (chaired by George W. Taylor, University of Michigan) of the IADR/AADR Publications Committee, which seeks the broadest possible scientific and geographic representation on the Board. Letters of nomination, along with a curriculum vitae or other statement of credentials, should be sent to Katie Brennan at kbrennan@iadr.org. Please include a brief bio to allow the President-elect to make a more informed judgment.
