Hybinette will launch a state-of-the-art monitoring center on March 1, 2002 at the Hybinette headquarters in Denver, Colo. The monitoring center provides a unique service by allowing customers to concentrate on daily work, rather than spending time searching for issues within their networks.

Hybinette hired Tim Orel as a Technical Support Engineer. Before joining Hybinette in January, he worked in the technical support field for more than five years, providing support for Internet Service Providers, DSL companies and also served as a system administrator in a Qwest data center. Recently, Tim wrote user guidelines and training for a new database inventory program for Qwest engineers. Prior to working in the technical field, Tim worked for the US Forest Service and the US Army Corps of Engineers Recreation Division.

The merger of Purup-Eskofot A/S and Barco Graphics has been finalized, and President and CEO William Schulin-Zeuthen announced he will not head the new company and plans to leave his post by June 30.

HOUSTON – Marathon Oil Co. discovered a gas field in its Ninilchik prospect on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, the company said Jan. 23.
