Hybinette to Exhibit at Cebit (ISCe) Satellite & Communications Show

Hybinette will exhibit its server and storage solutions at the first annual Cebic ISCe Satellite & Communications Expo August 27-29 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif.

The ISCe Exhibit and Conference Program will feature products and services of many satellite companies from all around the globe with a focus on several business sectors, including Services & Technologies, Broadcasting, Information & Communications, Telecommunications and Navigation, Remote Sensing & Imaging. The exhibit is designed to attract a broad spectrum of industry and government professionals, financial analysts and media.

Next Hybinette Dealer/Customer Training to be Held September 26-27

Hybinette’s training seminars cover technology and Hybinette products. Each course lasts two days and covers a wide range of helpful topics. The training session will be divided, focusing on sales for one group and technology for the other group.

Day One: Session divided into technology and sales groups. Groups will focus on:

• Hands on experience
• Building a CPU module
• Installation of 2000 and Linux
• Building and configuring a RAID and upgrading a RAID from 1 to 2 to 3 RANKs
• Implementation of maintenance procedures
• Configuration of Hybinette systems

Day Two: Theoretical learning on the following subjects:

• RAID controllers and RAID levels
• The three basic types of RAID controllers (software, card and hardware)
• Different operating systems (NT/2000 and various Linux and UNIX levels)
• Different operating platforms (Alpha, Intel, MAC OS, SGI, SUN)
• Networking (ATM and Ethernet including Gigabit Ethernet)
• Backup solutions (DLT, AIT, LTO DVD and CD)
• Overview of maintenance procedures
