The images of devastation and anguish arriving daily from Haiti are nearly incomprehensible. So much injury, suffering and death, compounded by the loss of shelter, food supplies and sanitation, strike to the very heart. Reputable aid organizations are just now reaching Haiti to begin work healing the wounded, restoring basic services, and rebuilding the infrastructure. One of the most prominent international organizations in the front lines of these monumental efforts is Doctors Without Borders (DWB), known internationally as Medecins Sans Frontičres.
