About Waves and Wishes

Waves & Wishes is a 5K run and walk that takes place at beautiful Folly Beach each year in late September. This event has quickly gained popularity statewide and continues to be a favorite throughout the running community. This year we hope you will join us to celebrate our 5th annual milestone of raising funds and awareness for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina!

Concerts on the Cooper 9/12 and Dog Day Afternoon 9/13

Charleston- Get ready to rock Charleston! It’s time for Concerts on the Cooper at the new Mt. Pleasant Pier. Come out on Saturday, September 12 for a good time that will keep you dancing all night long. Do not miss live music from “Super Deluxe” at Concerts on the Cooper, an all-new series of events!

Super Deluxe specializes in live dance music and “prides itself on being relevant, hip, and clean for all ages to enjoy.” Super Deluxe is known as one of Charleston’s premier party bands and its members have shared the stage with famous names like Kool & The Gang, Hootie & The Blowfish, Marshall Tucker Band, Edwin McCain, Black Crowes, The Drifters, and more.
Leave your worries at the gate and enjoy an icy-cold beverage, available for purchase on-site (please, no outside alcohol or coolers).
Join us Saturday, September 12 for Concerts on the Cooper, at the New Mt. Pleasant Pier with “Super Deluxe.” Gates open at 7:30pm, music starts at 8:30pm. Bring the whole family or come with that special someone to unwind after the long work week.
