Awesome Animations Coming Soon to a Theater Near You!
Prepare for a real treat with a variety of 2-D and 3-D films arriving in theaters!

Get your tickets, grab your popcorn and hold onto your seats because some exciting new films are due to hit theaters this month! November is a great time for moviegoers of all ages to head out to the cinemas and see some of the latest flicks!

Having trouble getting into the holiday spirit? The latest and possibly the greatest rendition of the Charles Dickens classic tale, A Christmas Carol (PG), is nothing to say “humbug” about! Director Robert Zemeckis, the master of effects who brought us such great films as the Back to the Future trilogy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and The Polar Express, brings another modern masterpiece to the big screen. A Christmas Carol has a star-filled cast that features the voices of such talented actors as Jim Carrey and Gary Oldman who play multiple roles in this effect-enlivened and enlightening look at a familiar classic. It’s the classic tale of a miserly, self-absorbed Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) who is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future (all also played by Carrey) and is given a new perspective on his ways. Gary Oldman, who also marvelously fills the roles of Bob Cratchit and Marley, portrays the adorable Tiny Tim. The animated film is a Disney production being shown in both 3-D digital and IMAX 3-D; it’s sure to be an unforgettable, magical experience! The film opens nationwide November 6. For more information, visit the official site at www.Disney.go.com/christmascarol.

Blast off into space for an out of this world comedic adventure that you’re sure to enjoy no matter what planet you’re from! Planet 51 (PG) is a brand new animation and 3-D sensation brought to you by screenwriter Joe Stilman, one of the creative minds behind the Shrek series. If you liked the big green ogre, you’ll definitely be drawn in by these “little green men!” Planet 51 takes place on a faraway planet of said title on which a population of extraterrestrial beings live their happy, normal lives in a quaint, picturesque world that parallels America in the 1950s. One day, a stranger arrives – a down-to-earth human astronaut named Chuck Baker. What will the inhabitants of Planet 51 make of this invader? Will he turn their perfect world upside down? The film features the voices of Jessica Biel, Dwayne Johnson, Gary Oldman and John Cleese. The film is due to arrive in theaters on November 20. For more information, visit the official site at www.sonypictures.com/movies/planet51.

What time is it? It’s time to head to the theater to see The Fantastic Mr. Fox! (PG). Adapted from Ronald Dahl’s famed children’s novel favorite, Director Wes Anderson debuts his first work of classic-style stop-motion animation that gives a refreshing vibe to this fabulous story! Mr. Fox (voiced by George Clooney) is a family man, or fox, who, along with Mrs. Fox (voiced by Meryl Streep) lives under a hill with his family, surrounded by a community of animal friends. When three belligerent farmers catch wind of Mr. Fox’s recent chicken stealing escapades and bad things befall the family, the animals rally together to defend themselves against the farmers’ devious plots. A fantastic and thrilling family picture, the film comes to select cities November 13 and arrives in theaters nationwide on November 25.

If you like fairytales, take your little princess to see The Princess and the Frog, Disney’s newest, charming classic! Set in the backdrop of beautiful Louisiana with stunning, hand-drawn animation sequences, The Princess and the Frog chronicles the adventures of a young princess, and a charming prince who happens to be in the form of a frog! The Princess and the Frog makes its leap to the big screen in select cities beginning November 25 and will be in theaters nationwide in early December.

Enjoy the shows!
