Important Supplier Payment Procedures
Because suppliers may quote you net rates, we want to take this opportunity to remind all Prestige independent agents of important agency policies. In order to make sure that you get the credit for the sale you have made please follow these simple steps.
First, make sure the final payment due to a cruise, tour or package company is correct before your client pays. When calculating the final payment due, make sure that all commission, taxes and fees have been added in.
It is Prestige's policy that all travel is paid in full to the supplier who will then send the full commission to the agency. Prestige then calculates your commission on a monthly basis, based on current policies. Please remember that if you underpay the supplier you are responsible for paying Prestige the commission due. We will then pay you your share. If we don't write checks to you, you are not earning income towards eligibility for the IATAN list and IATAN card.
