Please remember that you must be on the IATAN list to be eligible for any cruise travel agent rates...no matter what the cruise reservationist says. If the cruise reservationist says they'll give you a special rate, you are not eligible unless you are on the IATAN list. If the cruise reservationist tells you all you need to get a special rate is to send them a copy of our CLIA certificate, again, you are not eligible unless you are on the IATAN list. When you have earned $600.00 in commissions (checks written to you), call Claudia in the Agent Support office at 800-940-8801 and she will help you apply for the IATAN list and CLIA card.

A travel agent rate is not the net rate. Cruise reservationists will often say they'll give you a special rate because you're an agent. What they are doing is taking off the commission. When a confirmation comes in to the Prestige office at a net rate, please remember that you are responsible for paying the commissions due prior to documents being released.

Special Note: Per you Operating Procedures manual, pages 135 & 136, a $25.00 per room/cabin document fee is payable to Prestige for cruises and tours booked at a travel agent rate. This must be paid before you will receive your documents.
