We are seeking nurses for the following six roles:
Ward Nurses
Experienced in the following
• IV drug administration (antibiotics)
• IV administration of blood products – evidence of competency
• Removal & maintenance of catheters and catheter products
• Knowledge of catheter products
• Experience of bladder irrigation
Anaesthetic Theatre Nurses
Experienced in the following:
• Care of patients having Spinal/epidural anaesthesia
• Airway management
• IV administration of drugs and blood products
• Recognised Anaesthetic nurse qualification (desirable)
Recovery Nurses
Experienced in the following:
• IV administration skills – including administration of controlled drugs (pain management)
• Airway Management skills
• Care of patients having Spinal/Epidural Anaesthesia
• Bladder irrigation skills
• Catheter Care & Management
• Ability to recognise post-op TUR syndrome and other post-op complications
Scrub Nurses
Experienced in the following
• Care of patients having Spinal/epidural anaesthesia
• Airway management
• IV administration of drugs and blood products
Senior Nurse, Deputy Level
Experienced in the following
• IV drug administration (antibiotics)
• IV administration of blood products – evidence of competency
• Male & Female catheterisation skills – insertion, removal & maintenance of catheters and catheter products
• Knowledge of catheter products
• Experience of bladder irrigation
• Experience of discharge planning
Senior Nurse, Ward Manager
Experienced in the following
• IV drug administration (antibiotics)
• IV administration of blood products – evidence of competency
• Male & Female catheterisation skills – insertion, removal & maintenance of catheters and catheter products
• Knowledge of catheter products
• Experience of bladder irrigation
• Specific knowledge of and experience of managing patients following epidural and spinal anaesthesia
• Experience of post-op pain management
• Experience of discharge planning
• Off duty rostering
