News Update: We are
now Approved Suppliers of Midwives and Specialist General Nurses for London.
Health Professionals has been selected to provide both
midwives and specialist Hospital/Community nurses to
ALL London Hospitals in inner and outer regions of London under the
London Agency Project. This new contract starts in August 2005.
We have achieved probably the highest pay rates for
specialist nurses for nurses with experience in the following areas and we
invite you to compare our rates with other approved suppliers.
Band
7 rates for nights are £26.45 per hour while
day rates are above £21 per hour for experienced midwives. We suggest that
you contact us over the coming months to register and receive details of our full
pay rates.
We are approved to
supply to all London Hospitals the following category of nurses.
- Midwives and General Nurses.
Community and Hospital Specialist
midwives, Health Visitors, District Nurses, Research/Audit Nurses, Occupational
Health Advisers, Oncology/Haematology
Nurses, Practice nurses, Nurse Advisers (NHS Direct) and School Nurses.
We will also be holding presentations in June and July 2005
for nurses interested in working for us. If interested, please add your details

NMC Update.
The NMC are introducing “
The Overseas Nurses
Programme”. This is a
compulsory
20-day period of protected learning for all nurses trained outside the
European Economic Area (EEA) and, where appropriate, a period of supervised
practice. Applicants will be required to complete a programme in order to
qualify for registration with the NMC. This is being phased in from
1st September 2005.
We encourage you to
start
your application now if you are planning on working in the UK over the next
12 months to avoid the extra work involved in gaining registration.
Health Professionals has a long history in helping nurses
with the final stages of achieving registration. We suggest you start the
process and let us know when you are required to send back your documents so
we can keep track of the process.

67 Knightsbridge, in between Hyde Park Corner and
Knightsbridge Tube Stations, within close proximity to Harrods. Our new
office is conveniently situated for nurses newly arriving,
who wish to chat about opportunities in London. We will also
